Our "newest baby". Communion is only made with our fresh unpasteurized Spring milk. After the rind has formed we pierce and age this beauty in an earthy red wine brine until it is ready to enjoy.
The name Communion came from our first taste test. We were all standing together and put a piece of this new untested cheese into our mouths. Everyone looked at each other and it took us back to sneaking a taste of the Communion wine at church. A cheese to be bring people together and share with all!
Ingredients: Goat milk, Culture, Salt, Red Wine, Enzymes
